About Marie Rose

Hi, I’m Marie — an artist based in Alberta, Canada. For as long as I can remember, I’ve always been drawn to art and creating. Over the past 5 years, I’ve dedicated countless hours to learning and experimenting with traditional painting media, including acrylics, oils, and watercolour. Much of my work explores themes of memory, stillness, and the beauty in the mundane. I especially love painting scenes that feel both fleeting and familiar. To me, capturing these small, passing moments is a reminder of how much there is to be grateful for in the ordinary.

Creating art is, for me, a way to slow down and connect — with myself and with others. I hope my work offers a gentle space for reflection, stillness, and gratitude.

Thanks for being here. I’m so glad you’ve found your way to my little corner of the internet.
